Relax, Dashboard, and IVFi-PHP 1.3.0
Back again. I’ve continued messing around with the site since the last post, and a couple of things that started as small ideas ended up becoming pages of their own.
The first is Relax. It’s a little place for putting on a walking or driving video, listening to the radio, and just leaving it running in the background. You can pick a location yourself or let it surprise you. There’s also a Pomodoro timer if you want something to keep track of work and breaks. This site had a similar thing for many years, but it has been refreshed now.
The other addition is the Dashboard. It brings together recent cyber incidents and a world map with things like earthquakes, floods, wildfires and internet disruptions. You can filter what you’re interested in, open events for more details, and enable notifications for new ones if you want. I thought it would be nice to have a place to keep an eye on this stuff without having to check a bunch of different sources. It's honestly just for fun, and it looks kind of cool... Still work in progress, and more is likely to come.
I’ve also added a few more options to Settings, including different color tints for the site. There have been plenty of smaller changes to the layout, navigation and mobile experience too, along with some work behind the scenes to make things load and update more smoothly.
Outside of the site itself, I recently released IVFi-PHP 1.3.0. It has a refreshed interface, faster directory listings, file selection and ZIP downloads, as well as a bunch of fixes and improvements. A demo is available here. I'll probably update it further in the near future as well.
But yeah, that's Antumbra 1.1.12 published.
